January set achievable, relevant “smart goals” for the new year, floated at Evolution Float Pods, and explored the history of the Odd Fellows Home.
February visited Miss Lucille’s marketplace on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard and worked up a Pure Sweat with local fitness owners.
March staged “Murder at the USO” dinner theater with the Riddlesbrood Touring Theater on Madison Street, and toured development along Greenwood Avenue.
April looked at St. Bethlehem and the Amateur Athletic Union’s Olympic legacy — from Muhammad Ali to Oscar Robertson and Rafer Johnson.
May profiled Henry Rives, Lucian Greene, and Tracy Wofford, with a nod to producer Rick Rubin and a dispatch from Milan Fashion Week.
June mixed the best mimosa recipe, visited Grace Lutheran and Hilldale United on Madison Street, and traveled to Buenos Aires with Jaime Varriale.
July celebrated Independence Day near Fort Campbell, hiked Dunbar Cave, trained at Trifecta Fitness, and supported Youth Villages on Donation Day.
August fluttered over to Oak Grove’s annual Butterfly Festival and Butterfly House, with features reaching from Carnegie Hall to Coach Mike Krzyzewski.
September raced the Clarksville Speedway, honored the National Guard and Armed Forces through Blue Star Museums, and profiled Alexis Swearingen.
October celebrated the Bell Witch Fall Festival and Artsville Fest, wandered historic Greenwood Cemetery, and dreamed of the Chelsea Flower Show.
November crowned the Miss Queen City pageant — Allie Privitt, Noelle Thompson, and Gracyn VanWinkle among them — paddled the Red River at Port Royal, and took in a concert at the APSU Mass Communications Concert Hall.
December closed the year with a traditional German Christmas at Christ Lutheran Church.
