The December 2025 issue of Clarksville Living Magazine wanders Italy's Christmas alley of nativities, crowns a National Coach of the Year, and christens a new park with a BBQ festival.

The holiday cover feature travels to Italy's “Christmas Alley,” a meditation on nativity scenes in all their forms — miniatures in olivewood, marble, porcelain and paper mache; inflatables; gargantuan depictions; live outdoor scenes; even the famous Moravian putz the writer once viewed in Bethlehem. It sets a reflective, seasonal tone for the year's final issue.
Closer to home, the biggest secret in town for a while in October was Clarksville Christian School's surprise party for Coach Trenton Hassell, newly named the 2025 National Coach of the Year by the National Christian School association. The 25th Annual Jumper's Cup brought Taylor Capouch and Kelly Gibson to Clarksville Country Club for the event that pits Tennessee golfers against Georgia golfers and raises money through the Kelly Gibson Foundation.
The inaugural BBQ Fest: Across the River took RichEllen Park by storm — the first-ever event at the county park that opened in October 2015, hosted over two days by Montgomery County Parks and Recreation, with MC Parks & Rec's Kara Zahn describing the effort. The Veteran Business of the Month is Stricklen Electrical Industries, the veteran-owned Clarksville firm led by a humbled Brian Stricklen, built on quality, consistency and craftsmanship.
The year's last issue carries the full holiday calendar alongside its profiles, food, history and photo coverage — closing 2025 with a mix of far-flung Christmas tradition and homegrown Clarksville achievement.
