January opened the year with Habitat ReStores, the Good Samaritan program, and Miss Renee’s.
February explored Dunbar Cave Natural Area with the APSU Center for Field Biology, and considered David Hockney’s “A Bigger Picture.”
March marked Women’s History Month and promoted “Eat Well, Play Well” with the Men’s Image program.
April reflected on “Live, Laugh, Love,” visited the ancient Roman Empire, and covered OVC athletics.
May celebrated host families and Chevrolet Youth Baseball, with a profile of Elvin Overstreet.
June raced the Go Kart Pits on Needmore Road, visited Little Rascals Child Development, and caught up with Phil Baggett downtown.
July flew off to Neverland with “Peter Pan,” trained at Circuit Athletics on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, and supported JDRF’s Children’s Congress.
August staged Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “South Pacific” with a look at its World War II setting.
September hosted school Spirit Nights, supported the Dream Factory and Camp Rainbow, and profiled Casey Buttrey.
October brought a seasonal visit from Mr. Chipmunk and a full lineup of fall events.
November profiled Janet R. Johnston and shared research-based family advice.
December closed the year with the latest in family health research and holiday features.
