A graduate of Cunningham, Mitchell and Rocconi, he served two terms on the Clarksville City Council and, in 2018, was elected to the Tennessee Republican Party State Executive Committee — the kind of local rootedness the conservation project leans on.

“More Calm, Less Clutter” turns to retail therapy of a quieter sort. Amid the storefronts and restaurants competing for attention along busy Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, the feature singles out one shop built around unique home goods where customers add to their collections while supporting a good cause — a deliberate antidote to the noise of the strip.

The two features share a thread of intention: one planting trees by the million for a future decades out, the other paring life down to what matters. Both make the case that thoughtful choices, at any scale, compound.
