The December 2024 issue of Clarksville Living Magazine bakes Brie en Croûte for the holidays, packs Liberty Park for the CHAFF Latin Festival, and announces a new movie theater.

The holiday food feature offers Brie en Croûte — baked Brie in puff pastry, wrapped with honey or a fruit jam like raspberry, fig or apricot — an elegant, simple centerpiece for the season's gatherings, in keeping with the magazine's recipe pages.

The 4th Annual CHAFF Latin Festival drew between 5,000 and 7,500 people to Liberty Park for the Clarksville Hispanic American Family Foundation's celebration of food, music and culture — one of the area's largest and fastest-growing community events.

A significant business announcement closes out the year: Janet Wilson with CMC EDC welcomed a small group to Governor's Square Mall for the official announcement of the soon-to-open Phoenix Theatres Clarksville, bringing a new movie house to the mall and a boost to the city's entertainment options.

The December number carries the full holiday calendar alongside its profiles of local people, businesses and nonprofits, and the food, history and photo coverage that anchor each issue — closing 2024 with a mix of holiday tradition, cultural celebration and news of what's coming to Clarksville next. The Brie is wrapped in thawed puff pastry and baked, optionally topped with chopped walnuts, pistachios or almonds; the CHAFF festival, meanwhile, filled Liberty Park with authentic food, music and culture representing the Latin heritage of thousands of area families.
