The issue covers the unveiling of a Tennessee Historical Marker honoring Howard White “Smiley” Johnson on Madison Street, in front of the Whataburger location, where dozens gathered to mark the occasion — a piece of Clarksville history given permanent recognition.
The Leadership Clarksville Class of 2025 gathered at The Haven Pointe, April Consulo's new event venue, for a kickoff hosted by graduates of the Class of 2024 — a look at the program that develops the city's civic leaders and at a new local venue at once.
The Veteran Business of the Month is Clarksville's Titan T Center, opened by Staff Sergeant Trey Robertson and his wife Brandy, a board-certified family nurse practitioner — a husband-and-wife team pairing military service and medical expertise in a new local wellness business.
The November number carries the community's calendar heading into the holidays, its business and nonprofit profiles, and the food, local-history and photo coverage that anchor each issue. From a historical marker to a leadership class to a veteran-owned clinic, the issue captures a city honoring its past while building its future. Thomas Murff shared Johnson's story at the unveiling — orphaned at the age of ten, Johnson went on to a life worth a permanent marker — while LC's most recent graduates took responsibility for ushering in the new leadership class.
